In former times, the world was without plastic, and I think that was a good Thing......

The first plastic items were created 100 years ago.

Today 60 Million tons of plastic are  produced per year!

Plastic decomposes very slowly,it is not biodegradable.

PVC has caused a tragedy of the century!

(PVC= poly Viny choride= first tupe of plastic)

Plastic was createed to make things easier!

(E.g. Tubes of metal are heavier than plastic tubes)

We even have plastic in our Food and drink.

Drinking: Plastic bottles (Plastic is flowing with the water in ouer bodies!)

Food: fish or other sea animals (represents the plastic we throw into the sea is sometimes eaten by fish and other animals. They think it is Plankton and eat it)!

In India, People want no plastic!

The amount of plastic is enough to pack the Earth 6 times!

I think we can do 3 things easily in order to protect our enviroment:

redue, reuse and reycle!

Personally, I like the film plastic planet very much and I hop it has not only opened my eyes but also the eyes' of the rest of the children!
