...JUST A FEW PARTS OUT OF THE HUMAN RIGHT LAW- protected by the constitution. Whereas recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world. Whereas disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind, and the advent of a world in which human beings shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and freedom from fear and want has been proclaimed as the highest aspiration of the common people. Whereas it is essential, if man is not to be compelled to have recourse, as a last resort, to rebellion against tyranny and oppression, that human rights should be protected by the rule of law. All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law. All are entitled to equal protection against any discrimination in violation of this Declaration and against any incitement to such discrimination. MEDIA FREEDOM - protected by the constitution. What is the difference between freedom of expression and press freedom? Press freedom: The press freedom allows everyone -to be involved in journalism - do what is necessary for it. Therefore, the pressure, etc., protected by the proliferation of press freedom. The state can not influence it, and must instead make sure that the media may also exist. As for freedom of expression applies to the freedom of the press: even if a newspaper article, a contribution on television, etc. quality is questionable, is still allowed. The Constitution protects it. Free speech: Freedom of expression, as described by the first sentence of Article 5, is a human right. As such, it is also in the "Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms", which was designed by the Council of Europe in 1950, and was taken from there into the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. Freedom of expression has a dual function: firstly, it serves each individual to develop his personality. At the same time it enables the exchange of views in contact with other people. It does not matter whether the opinion is useful, interesting and valuable. Anyone can show you what he thinks - whether in images, text or in conversation. The Media tell us about events in the world outside of the head of the person making the statement. It is to be grateful for the readers, where it is for information such as report forms, report or feature, and where opinion is expressed, editorial, commentary or column. It is a fundamental principle of journalism teaching ,that information and opinion are inseparable ! The owners of today's media have blurred the distinction, or even completely abolished - we mean to inform us and act us - subliminally even considered that the owner of the media, although we as a responsible citizen,- as we are becoming known,- but from the information gained only to form our own opinions. So the media must once again concentrate to really honestly focus and not have to earn a "seedy bread" with "shoddy tabloid journalism.!!!! This is really difficult to understand right? Freedom of expression is a right out of the human rights.... The Press/Media has got a special right for press freedom and the constitution protects it. When Michael Jackson is protected by the human rights and the Media/press is protected by the constitution...... what are the laws ????? If you are disrespectful to the court you will be punished ... If you insult the police or a public officer – you will be punished.....etc... We `ve got freedom of expression, right? HOW can the constitution protect the PRESS FREEDOM and the prees freedom has got a „free ticket“ to attack and „kill“ Michael Jackson´s Human rights?( and the press freedom calls this - quality is questionable!!!) Both protected from the same constitution? What a brilliant imagination to know that all „those rights“ are protected by law ! What kind of judicial process ...... Michael Jackson (Human Rights) VS. The Media (Press freedom) I am absolutely sure that WE all have to change a lot more..... |
